WESTFIELD – Mary Nguyen scored four goals – all in the first half – to lead McCann Tech past Westfield Voc-Tech 4-0 in a girls’ soccer game at Jachym Field Tuesday.
“The first 20 minutes were not good,” Voc-Tech coach Maddy Mangini said. “We were much stronger in the second half.”
Megan Ilnicky did all she could in goal for Voc-Tech, collecting nine saves. Katie Nesmelova had a solid game on defense for the Tigers.
