BRADENTON, FL – Jeffery Carl Schweitzer, 55, was called to Heaven this past August. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1976 and attended Southern Connecticut State College on a wrestling scholarship. For the past 25 years he and his family lived in Bradenton Florida where he operated a roofing company and also was an electrician. His love for fishing, anything related to Ohio State Football and mostly his wife and children was second to none.
He will be truly missed by his wife, children, brothers, sisters, dad and untold friends. Then family will announce the date of a small memorial service to be held in Westfield in the near future. Was it his shoulders to lean on when times were tough, or a strong handshake and a smile when times were good? Could it have been his way of understanding and giving to his family, friends and even a stranger who needed a helping hand? It could also be said that it was his way of dealing with life, on his own terms, never yielding, never flinching. What it truly was I say to you, was all of these and more.
To all that knew him, raise a glass on December 11th at 7:15 p.m., for that was the day that God gave Jeff to us. While your glass is raised thank God himself that he blessed us all of for the opportunity to have Jeff touch our lives, for we are all better because of it. You are now free oh noble warrior, to continue the good fight next to our Lord Jesus.
