GRANVILLE – Constance “Connie” (Kinanis) Augustyniak, 61, devoted wife and soul mate to James Augustyniak, died on October 15, 2012 following a long illness at Country Estates, Agawam with her loving family by her side. Connie was born in Springfield, the daughter of Demetra (Couris) Kinanis, a resident of the Jewish Nursing Home, Longmeadow; and the late Anastasios Kinanis.
She was a graduate of Classical High School, attended S.T.C.C., A.I.C., and graduated from Westfield State College. For many years, Connie was employed in the banking field.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves many cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, with a funeral home service at 4:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in St Thomas Cemetery, Route 20, in Huntington. (Directions provided by calling the funeral home (413)569-5306).
