Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012
12:22 a.m.: officer wanted, Frederick Street, caller reports large number of vehicle parked along street and that a party is on-going, officer reports parked vehicles blocking access of emergency vehicles, more than 100 people at party, tenant advised to ask guests to leave, tenant agreed to officer’s request;
12:29 a.m.: liquor law violation, Church Street, patrol officer observed a male carrying an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage, subject was a 20-year-old male, officer issued subject a city ordinance violation;
3:20 a.m.: disturbance, Rachael Terrace, caller reports that her sister came home highly intoxicated and is in a verbal dispute with their parents, officer reports 19-year-old female placed in protective custody;
9:18 a.m.: property found, 15 Washington Street, officer reports that a wallet was left or dropped off in the lobby, wallet contained identification, officer dispatched to residence of wallet owner, spoke with a roommate who stated that the wallet owner was at work, officer advised roommate to have owner come to the station to recover her property;
10:45 a.m.: vandalism, Russell Road, motorist came to station to report that her 2011 Toyota was struck by a projectile which caused damaged to the vehicle, officer reports information taken;
9:36 p.m.: fraud, Walmart store, 141 Springfield Road, citizen came to the station to report a lost ATM card which was used to make two purchases at the Walmart store, bank cancelled card, investigation referred to the detective bureau.

Monday, Dec. 17, 2012
8:02 a.m.: larceny, Bertera Dodge, 167 Springfield road, caller reports theft of four brake rotors taken from scrap metal storage area, officer reports information taken;
10:22 a.m.: traffic complaint, East Mountain Road, caller reports a large pothole in southbound lane near Lane quarry, officers reports pothole sufficiently deep as to disable a motor vehicle, officer placed traffic cone to warn motorists, Department of Public Works (DPW) notified as to the hazard, DPW responded that a Westfield Gas & Electric Department contractor had done work at that location and is responsible for repairing the pothole, officer contacted the WG&E who dispatched a repair crew to the scene;
11:29 a.m.: medical emergency, area of 120 Pontoosic Road, callers report a male down next to a DPW truck, officer and fire department paramedics dispatched, officer reports DPW employee sustained a head injury, transported by ambulance to the Baystate Medical Center, Springfield for evaluation and treatment, DPW notified to sent an employee to recover the truck;
1:11 p.m.: annoying phone calls, scam scheme, Main Street resident reports receiving a phone call from someone stating that a relative of the reporting party had been in a motor vehicle accident and was injured, caller asked reporting party for personal information, reporting party hung up on caller and notified police of phone scheme;
1:42 p.m.: shoplifting, Home Depot, 514 East Main St., store security reports observing a male subject take a spool of copper and conceal it in his coat then leave the store, subject was confronted by security, 0officer reports a criminal complaint for larceny was filed with Westfield District Court and that the subject was issued a trespass order;
1:55 p.m.: breaking and entering, 9 Sackett St., female reports entering estranged boyfriend’s apartment to recover her personal property and discovering that the refrigerator was missing, boyfriend has been absent for some time, officer reports entry possibly made through rear window, front window also damaged;
2:06 p.m.: fraud, Glenwood Drive, citizen reports his credit card was used at an Elm Street bar and fast-food restaurant without his authority at 2 a.m., reporting party contacted credit company and was informed of that unauthorized activity, investigation referred to the detective bureau;
3:30 p.m.: vandalism, Frederick Street, caller reports that her estranged boyfriend was at her apartment to recover personal property and that he kicked and damaged the front door of her residence upon leaving, officer reports information taken.

Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012
8:08 a.m.: attempted breaking and entering, 8 Sackett St., caller reports finding pry marks on the front door of his residence, officer reports taking information;
9:03 a.m.: vandalism, Morris Street, caller reports two tires of her 2007 Dodge were slashed, officer reports taking information;
9:27 a.m.: assist other agency, Barnes Regional Airport, Falcon Drive 104th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard security at gate report stopping a subject attempting to enter the base to make a delivery who is the subject of an arrest warrant, officers dispatched to take custody of subject, Alexander J. Delgado, 23, of 152 Narragansett Boulevard, Chicopee, arrested on the court warrant;
2:42 p.m.: breaking and entering, vandalism, larceny, Barnes Regional Airport, Westfield Flight Academy, 111 Airport Road, caller reports that a propeller was intentionally damaged and that three log books were taken from aircraft, log books record all maintenance to aircraft and the value of the planes is substantially reduced without that date showing maintenance is current, officer reports taking information;
8:19 p.m.: larceny, McKinley Terrace, officer at that location requesting a detective, detective dispatched and will be investigating incident;
9:58 p.m: disturbance, 24 Lockhouse Road, caller reports two males arguing because one male is attempting to leave after consuming alcohol, officer reports that three males were involved, all fighting with each other, officer requested that the fire department dispatch an ambulance because it appeared that one male has sustained a broken nose, subject refused transport, parties declined to seek charges, sent on their way;
10:36 p.m.: disturbance, arrest, 26 Belmont St., caller reports hearing a female screaming for help, officers dispatched, officers could hear a male and female screaming at each other, officers spoke with female party who stated that the male has punched her on the side of her head, officers report visible injury to female’s ear, Richard E. Knight, 30, of 18 Mellen St., Chicopee, charged with assault and battery in a domestic relation, subject was being walked to the cruiser when he kicked an officer, subject then charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012
5:50 p.m.: vandalism, 72 Main St., Burger King restaurant, employee reports four youths spraying silly string and throwing drinks at the restaurant building, officer reports locating the youths near St. Mary’s Church, youths stated they were asked by the manager to leave the restaurant, but did not throw drinks at the building, youths said they were spraying the silly string at each other outside in the parking lot, youths advised that the restaurant was not a place to hang out just to get out of the cold, sent on their way.
