2:31 a.m.: suspicious person, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he investigated a male party seen urinating against the side of a building, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
9:40 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed that a stretch of sidewalk adjacent to city owned property has not been cleared, the DPW was notified;
11:38 a.m.: larceny, Knollwood Drive, a caller reports a snowboard, clothing and a bag of salt were stolen from his front yard, the caller does not require a formal report but wants his loss documented;
2:04 p.m.: incapacitated person, Taylor Avenue, a patrol officer reports he observed a known person ride his bicycle into a snowbank, the officer approached the man and found that he appeared to be intoxicated, the officer asked the man if he felt safe to operate his bicycle and the man said that he probably was not, the man was placed in protective custody;
3:51 p.m.: accident, Western Avenue at Spruce Street, a caller reports a school bus struck a pedestrian, the responding officer reports he was told that the pedestrian darted across the road into the path of the bus, the man was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he was admitted and was reported to be in good condition Friday morning;
7:02 p.m.: larceny, Clifton Street, a caller reports a generator has been stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that the generator was stolen from the yard of a business where it was kept some time since the last snow storm.
