Westfield scored four runs in the third inning. Colesanti and Sheridan smacked back-to-back doubles tie to the score. Greene and Medeiros both walked to load the sacks and Dan Rokitowski brought home Sheridan with a sacrifice fly. Designated hitter E.G. McMillan capped the scoring with a two-run single.
The Owls added two more runs in the fourth on Greene’s two-run triple down the right field line.
Greene and Medeiros pounded back-to-back doubles in the seventh for an 8-3 lead. Westfield quickly scored two runs in the ninth on McWilliams’ leadoff homer, a triple by Greene, and an RBI double by Medeiros.
