Chad Sullivan, 32, of 114 Piney Lane, Ludlow, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 21 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.
Michael C. Hawkins, 54, of 16 Furrow St., pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating under the influence and was sentenced to a 60 day term in the house of correction. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a number plate violation were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. In a separate case brought by Westfield police, charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and possession of a Class E drug were not prosecuted.
Giuseppe Scuderi, 57, of 3194 Mountain Road, West Suffield, Conn., saw a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon brought by Southwick police dismissed when the victim asserted her marital privilege and refused to testify. A charge of assault was dismissed the request of the defendant.
