1:46 a.m.: disturbance, a patrol officer report she observed a disturbance outside an Elm Street bar, see story in the Tuesday edition of The Westfield News;
6:36 a.m.: arrest, Summer Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a known person believed to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, two warrants were confirmed, Melisa L. Trudell, 37, of 30 Summer St., was arrested on the warrants;
10:19 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating with an invalid inspection sticker, the vehicle was stopped and the operator was found to have a suspended license, Joseph Paul Basile, 33, of 79 Franklin St., was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker;
12:10 p.m.: assist other police department, Deer Path Lane, Springfield police request that a city officer check a Deer Path Lane address for a 16-year-old female runaway, the responding officer reports the girl was found and transported to the West Springfield line to meet a Springfield officer;
4:29 p.m.: disturbance, East Silver Street, a caller reports he was en route to deliver his daughter to her mother and the girl has told him that her mother’s new husband can be abusive and she is scared, the responding officer reports that the girl’s mother conceded that her husband can be verbally abusive when he is drinking and she left the residence with her children, the Department of Children and Families was notified;
7:41 p.m.: disturbance, Bates Road, a caller reports that the mother of his child arrived for a child exchange and an altercation ensued, a second caller said that she went to the home of the father of her child and he pushed her causing her to fall into a window and break it, the officer reports the man said that when the woman left he locked the door and she then started banging on it until a pane of glass broke, the officer report he located of the glass shards indicates the glass was broken from the outside, no injuries were reported and no charges were filed;
10:02 p.m.: breaking and entering, Eastwood Drive, a caller reports a suspicious person went behind a neighbor’s house, see story in the Wednesday edition of The Westfield News;

7:01 a.m.: breaking and entering, Eastwood Drive, a caller reports her television was stolen, see story in the Wednesday edition of The Westfield News;
10:11 a.m.: vandalism, East Bartlett Street, a caller reports his neighbor’s vehicle was vandalized, the responding officer reports the owner is not available but his neighbor assisted with the report, one tire had been slashed;
11:25 a.m.: larceny, Linden Avenue, a resident came to the station to report a theft from his rental property, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he had been working at the rental property and returned to find a cordless drill had been stolen;
1:18 p.m.: vandalism, Orange Street, a caller reports his girlfriend’s vehicle was vandalized, the responding officer reports he found that one tire had been slashed;
3:03 p.m.: found property, King Street, a resident came to the station to report he found a bicycle on his lawn when he returned home, the responding officer reports the bike was transported to the station for safe keeping;
3:36 p.m.: accident, Montgomery Road, a caller reports a dump truck struck a small child on a bicycle and the boy is pinned underneath the truck, see story in the Wednesday edition of The Westfield News;
5:18 p.m.: larceny, Franklin Street, a resident came to the station to complain that her wallet was stolen at a Franklin Street store, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she put her wallet in her cart while she was shopping and subsequently found it gone;
5:32 p.m.: identity fraud, South Maple Street, a resident came to the station to complain of identity fraud, the responding officer reports the complainant said that his former wife had opened two phone accounts in his name, the case was referred to the financial crimes unit of the Detective Bureau;
7:16 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a passing motorist stopped at his location on Union Street to complain that occupants of another vehicle had pointed a gun at him, the officer reports that he spotted the vehicle but it did not immediately stop and the officer gave chase until it stopped on East Main Street, the occupants were ordered from the vehicle and a search revealed an airsoft pistol which was difficult to distinguish visually from a real firearm and two double edged throwing knives, the operator, Mykhaylo M. Makarchuk, 20, of 82 South Maple St., was arrested for failure to stop for a police officer, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to stop or yield, a passenger, Valentin S. Covileac, 19, of 19 Parkside Ave., was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon;
9:33 p.m.: disturbance, Sackett Street, a caller reports a disturbance, the responding officer reports a routine check of the participants revealed that the female party was the subject of an outstanding warrant, Samantha Mary Smith, 22, of 7 Sackett Street, was arrested on the warrant.
