1:59 a.m.: incapacitated person, Arnold Street, a resident came to the station to complain that staff at a bar stole from him, the responding officer reports the man’s account was inconsistent and bar staff said that he was given the change due him for the one drink he was served before he was shut off, the officer reports that the man was deemed to be too intoxicated to care for himself and he was placed in protective custody;
8:37 a.m.: vandalism, General Shepard Apartments, 25 Thomas St., a caller reports her car was again vandalized, the responding officer reports that the victim said that the side mirror which was smashed in the first vandalism incident has again been shattered;
9:50 a.m.: larceny, Day Avenue, a caller reports that her medication was stolen, the responding officer reports that the caller said that her medication is missing from her purse;
12:02 p.m.: animal complaint, Whitaker Road, the animal control officer reports she took custody of a stray gelded shepherd/husky dog and transported it to the municipal animal shelter;
3:12 p.m.: weather complaint, Montgomery Road, a patrol officer reports a tree has fallen across the roadway, officers were able to move the fallen tree out of the road;
4:57 p.m.: weather complaint, Holyoke Road, a caller reports a fallen tree is partially blocking the roadway in the area of the ‘S’ curves, the responding officer reports he was able to move some of the tree branches and the road is passable, the DPW was notified;
6:42 p.m.: vandalism, Western Avenue, a resident reports via the online reporting option that the siding on her home was holed by at least four pellet impacts;
6:58 p.m.: parking violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports that a vehicle was parked on the street in violation of the snow parking ban, a citation was issued, citations were issued for similar infractions on Jefferson Street, Pearl Street (2), Day Avenue (3), North Elm Street (6), Yale Street (2), Hancock Street, Orange Street, Frederick Street (2), Morris Avenue (2) and Coolidge Avenue.
