Waynesville, NC – Alberta C. LaPorte passed away peacefully on March 31, 2016 at the age of 83.
Alberta was a long-time resident of Russell Mountain and later resided in Ormond Beach Florida and North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth LaPorte, and one sister, Ellie.
Alberta is survived by her son, Kenneth LaPorte, and his wife, Deb; a grandson, Vince, all of Waynesville, North Carolina; and a sister, Gail Yarmesky, of Westfield, Masschuesetts.
A memorial service will be held on at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westfield, Massachusetts.
