To the School committee re 4 yr math requirement. Math is essential in all walks of life don’t cut the students short. If a student gets 4 yrs. of math and then requires remedial math something is wrong. Parents should monitor the students work or perhaps the work isn’t presented clearly. Students with poor math skills will not reach their potential. My sons are a product of Westfield schools, both are Electrical Engineers with Masters Degrees. Thank you Pat Turner for being an excellent teacher.
