Allyson J. Robar

WESTFIELD: Allyson J. (Burnup) Robar, 65, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at home. She was born in Chester on August 12, 1949 to the late Robert and Lila (Broga) Burnup. She was raised in Chester and attended local schools and was a graduate of Chester High School. She has been a resident of Westfield for the past 45 years. Allyson worked as a lunch mother at Franklin Ave School and also worked for Goodwill and the Salvation Army. She most recently worked at the New Corner Variety Store. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and acting and was involved in many plays during high school. She also loved to fish, and was an avid NASCAR and Boston Red Sox fan. Allyson’s most enjoyment came from attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She leaves her children Michael McClelland and his wife Theresa, Benjamin Robar, Sarah Collier and her husband David all of Westfield, her grandchildren Tonya, Adonia, Justin, Shawna, Daniel, Baley, Jacob and Jamie Girl. Allyson also leaves her brothers Michael Burnup and his wife Jackie of Wisconsin, Frederick Burnup of Westfield and Robert Burnup and his wife Jan of Chesterfield.
