Angelo Sam Melloni

SOUTHWICK – Angelo Sam Melloni (67), husband of 47 years to Deborah (Letourneau) Melloni; passed away on March 16th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Angelo was born on November 22nd, 1956 in Springfield, MA son of the late Angelo John Melloni and Nancy (Torris) Melloni. He was a resident of Southwick for 41 years.

Angelo was employed by Alstrohm for 41 years as a foreman in the shipping department. He retired in 2019. Angelo was a loving father, grandfather and friend, who would drop anything to help and support those he loved. His dedication to family, and his wife is unmatched. Angelo loved to spend his time camping, building a fire or grilling burgers for everyone. Angelo was a lifelong fan of the Boston Bruins and could be found every game night yelling at the TV screen. Angelo is known for his generosity, acceptance and caretaking of his family, extended family and friends.

Angelo is predeceased by his daughter Marie Melloni (2003); and his brothers, David Melloni, Michael Melloni, and sister Carol Melloni.

Angelo is survived by his sons, Jaysen Melloni and his wife Jaimie, Jeremy Melloni and his wife Desiree; five daughters: Stephanie Lecrenski and her husband Nathan, Melissa Melloni, Crystal Melloni, Jennifer Koziol and her husband Ryan, Ashley Melloni; a special cousin, Amber Tymeson; a sister Nancy Lamothe and her husband Kevin; thirteen grandchildren, Kyle Melloni, Ethan Melloni, Olivia Melloni, Hannah Melloni, Jackson Melloni, Grayson Lecrenski, Preston Lecrenski, Laiannie Lecrenski, Jocelyn Melloni, Jaden Hefty, Allie Cortesi, Austin Koziol, Rylee Koziol, and many cherished extended family members.

Funeral services will take place Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home and Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick with burial to follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, 420 Kings Highway, West Springfield. Calling hours will take place from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the funeral home.
