My niece, Becca Emmetts, a pre-med student at BU, had the pleasure of meeting Steven Tyler this week. She and her three roommates live in the same apartment that Steven Tyler and his bandmates shared back in the day when they were just breaking on to the Boston music scene. Aerosmith was in town for the hurricane Sandy benefit concert, and announced a free concert in front of their former apartment building to promote the benefit, as well as their new CD. Becca and her roommates met with Steven Tyler one on one (well, not counting bodyguards and bystanders) the day before for a quick visit before setting up for the show. The girls enjoyed the show from their apartment window! Becca and her roommates were featured in the Huffington Post and interviewed on the news. – Sue Bartlett of The Westfield News
