WESTFIELD – The Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum are preparing for their annual book sale which will take place, tomorrow, Thursday April 26 through Saturday April 28.
The annual event returns to the Lang Auditorium on the lower level of the Athenaeum after having moved to the Old Town Hall last year.
While it is labeled a book sale, visitors will find a treasure trove of vintage vinyl record albums, thousands of paperback and hard cover books, and other unique items such as collectible prints, posters and note cards, children’s books and DVD’s, audio books and CD’s.
The annual Book Sale is organized by the Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum and their mission is to support the programs and services of the Athenaeum. Since its inception in 1996, the Friends fundraisers have supported programs including the Museum Pass Program, First Thursday Concert Series, books for boys and girls reading clubs, computers and new technologies and more.
This year’s event is Thursday April 26th from 9am-8pm, Friday April 27th from 9am-5pm and Saturday April 28th from 9am-2pm.
