WESTFIELD – After eight months, the Baystate Noble Hospital front entrance and lobby construction is complete.
The new entrance and reception area have been enhanced to improve access and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Some of the improvements include installing new automatic sliding doors, re-grading the circular driveway and walkway areas to create a level surface, and adding a protected drive-under canopy drop-off area for patients.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Thursday June 14th beginning at 9am. Baystate Noble Hospital is located at 115 West Silver Street, Westfield.
Several dignitaries and honored guests will be speaking at the event. Among those speaking will be: Nancy Shendell-Falik, RN, MA, President, Baystate Medical Center and Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations, Baystate Health; Ron Bryant, President, Baystate Noble Hospital & Baystate Franklin Medical Center; Dena Hall, United Bank’s Western Massachusetts Regional President and Westfield Mayor Brian Sullivan.
