Bernice A. Wcislo

orange-tulips_00438375Westfield – Bernice A. (Romanowicz) Wcislo, 99, passed away on March 9, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Westfield, MA to the late Julian and Teofila (Sidorowicz) Romanowicz and a graduate of Westfield High School and Westfield Commercial School. Bernice worked as a secretary for Stanley Home Products for many years. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers and lawn. Bernice was predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew Wcislo in 2003 and by her brother Tony Roman and a sister Mary Roselli, and is survived by her loving daughter Susan T. Wcislo-Radner and her husband John Radner of Agawam, her sister Sophie Tarcha of Ill, her nephews, Nicholas, Fred and Albert Roselli, all of Westfield and Peter Tarcha of Ill. and her niece Theresa Tarcha of California.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Bernice on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 9:00AM in Holy Trinity Church, Elm St Westfield, followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA 01001. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations in Bernice’s name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 59 Bobala Rd. #2, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to the Baystate VNA and Hospice, 50 Maple St. Springfield, MA 01102.
