WEST SPRINGFIELD – Matt Bonsall launched two goals and seven assists, helping propel Westfield High School past West Springfield 16-4 in a boys’ lacrosse game Thursday at Clark Field.
Landon Reyes (goal, 3 assists), Chris Ward (3 goals), Ryan Metcalf (3 goals), Max Maggipinto (1 goal, 2 assists), and Nick Clausen (goal, assist) also delivered multi-point efforts for Westfield. Bombers’ defensemen Mitch Weiss, Gavin Carzello and Zach Cree helped lock down the West Side attack.
Ryan Reed (8 saves) and Alex Beauchemin (6 saves) combined for 14 Westfield saves.
