SOUTHWICK – Carlene A. St. Denis, 81, (1944-2025) passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2025, at Palmer Healthcare Center in Palmer, MA.
Carlene was born on February 23rd, 1944, in Richford, VT, to the late Arnold Parah and Hilda (Ovitt) Parah.
Carlene will be remembered for her many talents and creative spirit. She found joy in sharing her delicious baked goods with family and friends, drawing, making birdhouses with her grandchildren, and brightening the world with her beautiful summer gardens. In her spare time, she enjoyed birdwatching and participating in activities at the Southwick Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, Carlene was predeceased by her four brothers—Arnold Parah, Gerald Parah, Renfrew Parah, and Ronald Parah—as well as her sister, Ruth Ahders.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, David Grant St. Denis of Southwick, MA; her sons, David St. Denis and his wife Carrie of Southwick, MA, and Jacob St. Denis and his wife Jessica of Southwick, MA; her daughter, Deborah French and her husband Scott of Theresa, NY; and her cherished grandchildren, David St. Denis of Worthington, MA, and Amber St. Denis of Southwick, MA. She also leaves behind her brothers, Leonard Parah and family of VT and Larry Parah and family of VT, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a period of visitation from 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC, 691 College Highway, Southwick, MA 01077.
