Carol V. Langlois

WESTFIELD – Carol V. (Vance) Langlois, 80, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Parkview Specialty Hospital. She was born in Westfield on March 9, 1933 to the late Martin and Naomi (Coite) Vance.
She has lived in both Westfield and Russell. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and Springfield Vocational School. She was a companion for Council on Aging in Westfield. She was a Home Health Aide for Nurses House Call and was a finishing foreman for Waltham Grinding Wheel. Carol was a member of the Westfield Elks, Moose Lodge, Eastern Star, The Grange and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband’s, Robert B. Braman and Theodore E. Langlois. She leaves her children, Robin W. Braman of Huntington, Randy L. Braman of Lake Como, PA and her daughter, Rise J. Braman of Springfield. She also leaves her brother, Carleton Vance and his wife Valerie of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Joshua, Winter, Jileysha and Rachael; her great-grandson Logan; her nephew, Timothy and her niece, Carla. She was predeceased by a son, Frank Braman in 1973.
The funeral for Carol will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Russell Cemetery. Calling hours will be held before the service on Saturday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
