Catherine Frink

RUSSELL – Catherine O. (Langlois) Frink, 83, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Baystate Noble Hospital on Saturday February 29, 2020. She was born in Westfield to the late Joseph and Mary (Walsh) Langlois. Catherine worked as an assistant librarian for the Town of Russell and was a volunteer at Noble Hospital. She spent most of her time as a homemaker, taking care of her family. She was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Parish in Russell, enjoyed playing cards, bowling, reading books, and knitting and crocheting. She was a former den mother for the Cub Scouts and enjoyed trips to Cape Cod and Lake George. Catherine loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren most of all. Catherine is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Theodore R. Frink of Russell, her loving children, Samuel Frink and his wife Christine of Becket, Craig Frink and his wife Diana of Chelmsford, MA, Dr. Timothy Frink and his wife Stephanie of Coweta, OK and Theresa Frink of Westfield, and her eight cherished grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Sadly, Catherine was predeceased by two grandchildren, Justin and Kelsey Frink and her sister Betty Langlois. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11AM in Holy Family Parish, Main St. Russell, with burial in the spring in Russell Cemetery.
