WESTFIELD – Cecile Dupont, 75, passed away on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Glover VT to the late Joseph A. and Helen (Volois) Guay.
Cecile was employed as a volunteer and teacher’s aide for St. Mary’s Elementary School in Westfield for many years. She loved spending time at her camp in West Glover VT, many vacations in different parts of Maine, was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, William E. Dupont, her loving children, Michael W. Dupont, Melissa H. Dupont and Richard P. Dupont and his wife Jacqueline, all of Westfield, her brothers Robert Guay and Paul Guay and his wife Anne, all of Springfield, her sister-in-law Marguerite Murphy of Westfield, her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Stewart, Jerrid McManus and Isabela and Oliver Dupont, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
