WESTFIELD – Charles J. Sheehan, 70, of Westfield died Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Holyoke Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT on June 20, 1942 and has lived in Westfield since 1983.
Charles was the owner of Southwick Gallery Interiors for forty years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield and a member of the Moose Club in West Yarmouth. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and trips to Cape Cod.
He was the widower of Erika M. (Janner) Sheehan who died on February, 8, 2001. Charles leaves a daughter, Angela Springer and her husband John F. Springer III of Westfield and three grandchildren, Shane, Dillon and Victoria Springer. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Terry Adamcik of Mansfield, CT and a nephew, Erik Adamcik of Columbia, CT.
The funeral will be Thursday, September 20th at 9:00 a.m. from Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
