Westfield – Christine (Conniff) Kelley, 72, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 31, 2017 after a long illness. Christine was born in Westfield, March 6, 1944 to Thomas and Margaret (Strong) Conniff, both pre-deceased. Christine leaves her husband John “Jack” Kelley of Westfield, a son Brian Kelley and his wife Brenda of Dalton, MA, a daughter Kimberly Dewey and her husband Eric, a brother David Conniff and his wife Ann and a cousin Peter Dargon and his wife Joy all of Westfield. She also leaves grandchildren, Warren Dewey and Kaitlin Dewey. She leaves a sister-in-law Joellyn Osowski and her husband Mike and a brother-in-law Robert Kelley. She also leaves a number of cousins in the Springfield/Westfield area. Christine lived in Westfield her entire life. She was baptized, received confirmation and was married in St. Mary’s Church, Westfield. She attended Westfield Public Schools where she majored in business courses and graduated in 1962. Christine worked as an administrative assistant at Columbia Manufacturing Company before becoming a homemaker and raising her children. She enjoyed her grandchildren and she enjoyed reading and watching TV.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 11:30 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Calling hours will be from 10:00 am till 11:30 am prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made in memory of Christine Kelley to St. Mary’s Church, 30 Bartlett Street, Westfield, MA 01085. firtionadams.com
