Westfield woman held on prostitution and drug charges

WESTFIELD – A Westfield woman was arrested on charges of prostitution and drug possession after an undercover officer responded to her ad.
Westfield police detectives executed an anticipatory search warrant at 211 Little River Road on November 12 after an undercover officer responded to an ad found on backpage.com, according to court records.
The undercover allegedly exchanged text messages with Danielle M. Galloway, 37, through which she invited him to her apartment for sex.
The undercover gave Galloway $180 in cash, an agreed upon price for one hour, and placed a condom on the night stand, according to court records.
Galloway changed into a G-string bottom, thigh high stockings, high heels and a bra, according to court records.
When police executed the search warrant, officers found crack cocaine and heroin.
Galloway was arrested at 4:23 p.m. November 12 on charges of possession of Class A drug, to wit: heroin (10 bags), sexual conduct for fee and possession of Class B drug, to wit: crack cocaine, according to police logs.
Galloway was held in lieu of $100 cash bail after being arraigned in Westfield District Court on November 13 on the above charges with the charge of possessing a Class A Drug listed as subsequent offense.
The defendant has an extensive arrest record including being arrested in August 2013 by Northampton police on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer, according to gazettenet.
At that time, Galloway lived at 256 State Street in Northampton.
“According to police, officers attempted to arrest Galloway at her residence for an outstanding warrant from Springfield District Court, at which point she became combative,” according to gazettenet.
According to Holyoke police logs, Galloway was arrested in June 2014 and July 2014 on charges of possessing a Class A drug, possessing a Class B drug and soliciting sex for a fee.
In June 2014, police listed her address in Holyoke as 232 Elm Street and in July, police listed her address in Holyoke as 255 Essex Street.
Additionally, Holyoke police arrested Galloway in January on five default warrants, according to Holyoke police logs.
Galloway will be back in Westfield District Court on December 8.
