WESTFIELD – Clare Lorenzatti, 76, passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Born in Westfield, Massachusetts, Clare was the daughter of the late Edna (Clare) Lorenzatti and Augusto “Gus” Lorenzatti. She was raised in Westfield and attended St. Mary’s High School, where her lifelong passion for learning and achievement began.

Clare pursued higher education with distinction, earning her undergraduate degree from Elms College, an MBA from Boston College, and a DBA from Boston University. These academic accomplishments reflected both her intellectual rigor and determination.

Clare began her professional life as a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, dedicating twenty-five years to religious service before transitioning to a career in the private sector. A respected leader in her profession, she spent many years as a partner at BMT Management & Financial Consultants, President of the Board of Trustees of NATRI, and CFO of a religious institute. She was known for her expertise, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence, earning the admiration and respect of colleagues and peers throughout her career.

Clare will be remembered for her sharp mind, perseverance, and quiet confidence. Through her work and love of travel, she visited many countries and continents across the world—experiences she cherished deeply.

An avid sports fan, Clare was especially devoted to Red Sox baseball, UConn Women’s basketball, and Patriots football. Friends and family always knew when Clare was nearby by the familiar ESPN sports update jingle sounding from her phone. She cherished playing card games with family and friends and loved spending her days relaxing on the beach with a good book.

Family meant everything to Clare. She was extremely proud of her nephew Nathan and niece Jessica, and she delighted in sharing photos and celebrating their accomplishments. She also cherished her niece-in-law Thanh Lu and her grandnephews Jonathan and Raymond.

Clare is survived by her sisters Ellen Pendegar and Joanne Blascak; her brother-in-law Ed Blascak; Nathan Blascak (Thanh Lu); Jessica Blascak (Rick Corsi); and her dear friends Anne Gilbert and Carol Wing.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edna (Clare) Lorenzatti and Augusto “Gus” Lorenzatti; her brother-in-law Jerry Pendegar; and her dear friend Peg Downing.
