ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Jade Cloud, 13, and Josh Burrage, 16, two local dancers at New England Dance & Gymnastics Centers, competed recently at the United States Tournament of Dance National Competition in Atlantic City, NJ.
After just one year of working together as partners, this dynamic duo amazed the judges and garnered a first place finish. Cloud and Burrage beat all other 13-18 year old duos and trios, even though they were one of the youngest groups in the senior division.
To add to their stellar performance in this highly competitive nationals competition, in the solo title division Cloud triumphed over a multitude of competitors to be crowned Junior Miss Dance of the United States and Burrage overwhelmed his competition to take home the crown as Mister Dance of the United States. Both dancers received crowns, trophies and significant monetary awards.
