Consuelo F. Egerton

AGAWAM – Consuelo F. Egerton, 94, formerly of Granville, MA passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Heritage Hall South Nursing Home. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to her late parents Frank and Consuelo and was a graduate of Deer Isle High School in Maine.
Consuelo was employed at Wackerbarth’s Box Shop in Granville for 4 years, Connecticut General Insurance for 15 years and for Rockwell Management for 5 years. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross, rang the bell for the Salvation Army, was very active with the Granville Federated Church, and was a S.H.I.N.E. counselor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry S. Egerton; her brother, Frank and her sister, Eleanor. Consuelo is survived by her five sons, Stuart G. Egerton and his wife Evelyn of Pahrump, NV, Guy P. Egerton of Pleasanton, CA, Durand G. Egerton and his wife Patricia of Middletown, CT, Matthew R. Egerton and his wife Irene of Southwick and Derek H. Egerton and his wife Carrie of Agawam, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Granville Federated Church, 16 Granby Road, Granville, MA 01034.
