Due to confusion about the licensing requirements for private clubs, a story which appeared in Monday’s edition of The Westfield News erroneously reported who may patronize the St. Patrick’s Day dinner at the Moose Lodge on Washington Street on Wednesday, March 17.
The terms of the club’s license prohibit attendance at the event by the general public and require that the lodge may only welcome members and their guests to the event.
The News regrets the error.
