Armando Mercado, 32, of 20 Jefferson St., was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail after the was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, strangling or suffocating, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
David T. Santiago, 23, of 26 Sackett St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery on a person older than 60 years-of-age or disabled, assault and battery and vandalizing property brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay $781.96 in restitution.
Wolfgang Meier, 72, of 15 Eagle St., Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 8 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Southwick police.
Constantino S. Sfakios, 29, of 236 Vining Hill Road, Southwick, saw a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Southwick police not prosecuted at the request of the alleged victim.
George Sfakios, 63, of 236 Vining Hill Road, Southwick, saw a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Southwick police not prosecuted at the request of the alleged victim.
Joseph M. Blais, 24, of 15 Wildflower Lane, Agawam, saw two charges of distribution of a Class C drug and a charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws brought by Westfield police not prosecuted.
Luis O. Rivera, 45, of 825 Chicopee St., Chicopee, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding brought by Westfield police not prosecuted.
Grady Hughes, 19, of 18 Pearl Brook Road, Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 11 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage accident brought by Southwick police.
Malachi V. Roman, 23, of 204 Fairview St., Greenfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute and distribution of a Class A drug brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay a $150 drug analysis fee. A charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws and a drug violation near a school or park were not prosecuted.
