Alan L. Smith, 46, of 26 First St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 10 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by a Westfield resident.
Matthew L. Flynn, 28, of 53 Crown St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year.
