Jesus Hernandez-Ortiz, 26, of 14 Riverview Place, Chicopee, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a number plate violation to conceal identification brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $200. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Christopher A. Desnarteau, 34, of 235 College St., Springfield, was released on $1,000 personal surety pending an April 2 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
Victor Morales, 37, of Franklin Ave., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $90 and Judge Philip A. Contant ordered that if there is any violation of probation a guilty finding will be entered and a six month term in the house of correction will be imposed.
Eladio Diaz, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of fees and assessments totaling $200. He was found to be not responsible for a motor vehicle lights violation.
Jason Kehoe, 18, of 81 Maple St., West Springfield, saw a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by State Police not prosecuted when the named victim did not cooperate with the Commonwealth.
Derek J. McDougall, 23, of 27 Greenwood St., was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 10 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police.
Derik R. Rivera, 21, of 90 High St., Springfield, was placed on pretrial probation until May 11, 2015, after he was arraigned on a charge of racing a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police. He was found to be not responsible for a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.
Reuben M. Leinbach, 28, of 81 Main St., Blandford, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle brought by State Police not prosecuted.
Josue Santiago, 30, of 25 N. Cherry St., saw charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt brought by State Police not prosecuted.
Todd A. Parady, 31, of 1298 Blandford Road, Russell, was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 10 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police.
Josephat J. Verndon, 29, of no fixed address in Westfield, was released on $1,000 personal surety pending a March 24 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Verndon was again released on $1,000 personal surety pending a March 24 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member.
