Vladimir Belyshev Jr., 36, of 45 Kamuda St., Indian Orchard, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He was fined $625 and assessed $50.  In a separate case with an address of 155 Papermill Road, Westfield, Belyshev was not prosecuted for a charge of using a motor vehicle without authority after the victim reported he had mistakenly reported the vehicle to be stolen.

Michael C. Hawkins, 59, of no fixed address in Westfield, was held in lieu of $250 cash bail pending a March 14 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of violation of a harassment prevention order, breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and trespass.

Ryan D. Boermeester, of 2 Ahern Circle, North Belrica, saw a charge of assault and battery dismissed when the alleged victim asserted his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify. Boermeester was found to be responsible for a charge of disorderly conduct and fined $100.

Adam N. Colbert, 20, of 3 Cold Spring Lane, Hudson, saw a charge of assault and battery dismissed when the alleged victim asserted his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify. Colbert was found to be responsible for a charge of disorderly conduct and fined $100.

Jose L. Maldonado, 55, of 300 East St., saw charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, strangling or suffocating and assault with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield Police dismissed when the victim asserted her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify.

Josue Velazquez, 25, of 47 Broad St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued at more than $250 by a single scheme brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $100 and ordered to make restitution to the victim in the amount of $3,500 in monthly payments of $176.
