John K. Self, 24, of 140 Union St., saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police dismissed when the alleged victim asserted her marital privilege and refused to testify.
Louis Paroline, 27, of 27 E. Bartlett St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50, found to be responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and assessed an additional $50. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle were not prosecuted.
Andriy M. Petrovych, 25, of 134 Union St., was found to be responsible for a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and was assessed $100. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and number plate violation to conceal identification were not prosecuted.
Inga Karcha, 17, of 38 Prospect St., West Springfield, saw charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery brought by Westfield police were dismissed at the recommendation of the probation department.
Jason D. Garwacki, 37, of no fixed address in Westfield, saw a charge of threatening to commit a crime brought by Westfield police dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
John L. Inkel, 47, of 17 Arapaho Drive, East Hartford, Conn., was placed on pretrial probation for six months and ordered to pay restitution of $3,000 after he was arraigned on three charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police.
