Alex Rios, 41, of 92 Blaine St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 brought by Southwick police. A charge of larceny of a firearm was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
Chris A. Melbourne, 57, of 868 Southampton Road, Apt. 46, Westfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Melbourne pleaded guilty to charges of violation of an abuse prevention order and intimidating a witness and was sentenced to an 18 month term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for one year.
Lakerria S. Thomas, 31, of 2690 Main St., Apt. 4, Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of larceny from a person older than 65 years-of-age and assault and battery on a person 60 years-of-age or older and was sentenced to an 18 month term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for one year. A charge of intimidating a witness was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
