Thaj W. McCormick, 22, of 55 Burr St., Springfield, was held in lieu of $3,000 cash bail pending a Jan. 8 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of possession of heroin, failure to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as a habitual traffic offender, improper operation of a motor vehicle, two charges of failure to stop or yield, speeding in violation of special regulations, a state highway signal, sign or marking violation and four marked lanes violations brought by Westfield police.

Deanna Collazo, 44, of 3 Jefferson St., Westfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Feb. 14 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a family or household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.

Sarah A. Moodie, 34, of 16 Crescent St., Huntington, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Feb. 14 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, a number plate violation and a marked lanes violation brought by State Police.

Yessinia Sanchez-Melendez, 31, of 153 Dickinson St., Springfield, saw charges of failure to stop for police and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle ordered to be dismissed upon completion of eight hours of community service before Feb. 8, 2019. She was found to be not responsible for a number plate violation. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and a number plate violation to conceal identity were dismissed by the court.

Stefon L. Davis, 21, of 17 Highland Ave., West Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of unlawful possession of fireworks brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one day.

Todd A. Parady, 35, of 1298 Blandford Road, Russell, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 29 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and a number plate violation to conceal identification brought by Russell police.
