Jason J. Bickford, 35, of 97 Elm St., was held in lieu of $300 cash bail pending a Dec. 22 hearing after he was arraigned on five charges of violation of a harassment prevention order and one charge of criminal harassment brought by Westfield police.
Joan M. Bergdahl, 31, of 358A CRT, W. Suffield, Connecticut, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Jan. 27 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick police.
Miguel A. Torres, 32, of 134 Union St., pleaded guilty to a charge of malicious damage of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and was ordered both to make no threats or violence toward the named victim and to abide by all abuse prevention orders. He was placed on probation for one year and assessed $90. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Torres pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $100 and assessed $50.
John E. Turrini, 52, of 163 S. Longyard Road, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Driver Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $957.76 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted and he was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Grady Hughes, 18, of 18 Pearl Brook Road, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for a charge of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor brought by Southwick police and the charge were continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
