John G. Doran, 48, of 863 Southampton Road, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police dismissed without prejudice when the victim and a witness again failed to appear in court.
Anthony J. Montagna, 41, of 6 Sackett St., pleaded guilty to a charge of resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and was sentenced by Judge Philip A. Contant to a three month term in the house of correction with credit for time served. He was assessed $50 and a charge of assault and battery was dismissed when the alleged victim asserted her marital privilege and refused to testify. In a separate case also brought by Westfield police, Montagna pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny from a person and was sentenced to a six month term in the house of correction with credit for time served. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay $175 in restitution,
Brittany E. Cox, 27, of 14 Livingstone Ave., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $250 and her license was suspended for 45 days.
Tyler J. Fish, 20, of 25 Leonard Ave., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 31 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police.
Cameron A. Miles, 20, of 99 Franklin St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 12 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute brought by Westfield police.
Brandie Arlene Lucia, 19, of 99 Franklin St., was released on her personal recognizance pending a Feb. 12 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute brought by Westfield police.
Alexander F. Caputo, 22, of 5576 Dickinson Hill Road, Russell, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 20 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting by asportation brought by Westfield police.
Courtney D. Rego, 22, of 14 Pumpkin Lane, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $567.22 and her license was suspended for 45 days. She was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation and a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
