After a dangerousness hearing, David A. Messenger, 54, of 38 Berkshire Ave., Southwick, charged by Southwick police with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (a fourth offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, was held without right to bail pending a March 27 hearing.

Carmen M. Ortiz, 50, of 57 Lowell St., Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 1 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police.

Mark A. Morales, 32, of 8 Baymeadow Road, Springfield, saw a charge of leaving the scene of property damage not prosecuted after the Commonwealth reported that the alleged victim was not cooperating.

Michael Amoroso, 22, of 17 Blueberry Lane, Canton, Conn., was placed on pre-trial probation for four months to resolve a charge of wanton destruction of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield State University police. A of disorderly conduct was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

Christine L. Steele, 41, of 16 Knightly St., Hadley, was released on her personal recognizance pending an April 13 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle and concealing/selling/pledging leased property brought by Westfield police.
