Edgar Delvalle, 39, of 61 Chestnut St., Chicopee, saw charges of enticing a child younger than 16 years-of-age, assault and battery on a police officer, withholding evidence from a criminal proceeding and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police not prosecuted after the Commonwealth filed a replacement complaint. In that second case, Delvalle, was held in lieu $15,000 cash bail pending a Dec. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, intimidating a witness, attempting to commit a crime and offering to engage in sexual conduct for a fee. In a third case also brought by Westfield police, Delvalle, was held in lieu of $15,000 cash bail pending a Dec. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on three charges of possession of child pornography. Eric D. Sadler, 28, of 28 Brenda Drive, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 4 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating under the influence of liquor brought by State Police.

James R. Campagna, 35, of 361 Southampton Road, Westfield, saw a charge of assault and battery dismissed at the request of the alleged victim who averred that he has received satisfaction for any injury received from the defendant.

Reynaldo L. Colon, 27, of 13 William St., Chester, saw charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor and intimidating a witness not prosecuted after the Commonwealth stated that the alleged victim is not cooperating with the prosecution.

Brandon I. Heard, 32, of 9 Hanover St., Apt. B, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 16 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.

Gustav. S. Kopacz, 20, of 59 Main St., Blandford, filed an Alford plea, conceding that the prosecution’s case is unassailable but maintaining his innocence, and submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest brought by State Police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $50 and charges of assault and battery, mayhem and threatening to commit a crime were not prosecuted.
