Alan D. Salois, 38, of 143 Sackett Road, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 12 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of wanton destruction of property valued less than $250 brought by Southwick police.

Jason J. Buikas, 34, of 6 Chapman Ave., Easthampton, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.

Cordelia J. Papa, 63, of 16 Depot St., Southwick, was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 30 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Southwick police.

Ralph E. Starkey, 44, of 7 Upper Church St., West Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Southwick police and was sentenced to a six month term in the house of correction with credit for time served awaiting trial. In a second case brought by Westfield police, Starkey pleaded guilty to charges of violation of an abuse prevention order and making annoying telephone calls and was sentenced to two six month concurrent terms in the house of correction to be served at the completion of the sentence imposed in the previous case.

Thomas P. McClure, 23, of 96 Joseph Ave., Westfield, was held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail pending an April 22 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a family or household member and rape brought by Westfield police.

Johnny Alicia, 26, of 72 East Silver St., Westfield, was released on $500 personal surety pending a June 26 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a family or household member and strangulation or suffocation brought by Westfield police.
