Brandon W. Smith, 53, of 11 Pine St., Apt. 2, Easthampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $300 and his license was suspended for 60 days. A charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor was not prosecuted.
Brian J. Wood, 42, of 39 Beach St., Southwick, was held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a July 19 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of possession of a Class A drug brought by Southwick police.
Catalina Lopez, 39, of 28 Parker St., Springfield, saw a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle ordered to be dismissed upon immediate payment of $100 in court costs. She was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations.
Tracey A. Thompkins, 39, of 16 Dexter St., Springfield, saw a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration brought by Southwick police ordered to be dismissed upon payment of $50 in court costs within seven days. A charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle was dismissed by the court.
Dustin C. Hadsell, 29, of 1419 N. Main St., Sheffield, was held in lieu of $500 cash bail after he was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt, possession of a Class B drug and a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation brought by State Police.
Jose O. Dejesus, 35, of 126 Union St., #1216, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 15 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention hearing bought by Westfield police.
