WESTFIELD – Daniel Dupre, 50, died on December 26, 2018 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was the son of the late William E Dupre of Orange MA and his mother, the late Maureen Ryan Dupre of West Springfield. Daniel previously lived in Southwick and attended public schools there. He was a graduate of The Westfield Vocational High School, and was employed at DCP Midstream in Westfield.
Dan was an adventurous outdoorsman who had a passion for hiking and skiing, especially at Mad River Glen in Vermont. He also liked riding motorcycles and camping at No Truro on the Cape, but above all loved kart racing with the many friends he made at Pioneer Valley Karting and in the NHKA racing circuit.
Daniel will be dearly missed by all of his relatives and friends. He is survived by his sister, Laura Dupre and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Dan’s life is planned for the spring.
