AMHERST: David Fay, 77 of Amherst died Saturday at home .He was born in Westfield the son of the late Francis Fay and Augusta “Jessie” (Fisher) Sands. David is survived by his uncles, John Fisher of Blandford, Fred Fisher of Bremerton, WA., Luther Fisher of Westfield, and Raymond Fisher of Buzzards Bay, an aunt, Ann Jasmin of Wilbraham, and several cousins. His funeral and burial at Brookside Cemetery in Easthampton will be private. Donations may be made in memory of David to the charity of one’s choice. The family would like to thank the people that took care of David at the Wysocki House in Amherst , which was his group home. A special thanks to Sharon Cormier and her wonderful staff,and the staff at Cooley –Dickinson Hospital. God bless them all!!.
