David L. Raymond, Jr.

RaymondPLAINVILLE – David L. Raymond, Jr, 55, of Plainville, died on June 16, 2013 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
He was the beloved husband of Doris “Dori” (Kohut) Raymond. Born in Springfield on December 30, 1957, he was a loving son of Gail (Webster) Szyndlar and her husband Stanley Szyndlar of Stowe, VT. and David L. Raymond and his wife Susan Raymond of Paradise, CA.
A resident of Plainville for the past twenty years, he was formerly of Westfield. He was a printer by trade and had owned Dave’s Print Shop for many years. Dave was also an accomplished musician, and had played for many years with the Clayton Cummings Band as their drummer. David was a loving husband, father and son, and family meant everything to him. Music was his passion, but he also enjoyed the outdoors, woods and nature. He had a great sense of humor. A sentimental man, he was a collector of sentimental remembrances from all the corners of his life.
In addition to his loving wife and his parents, Dave is survived by his dear children; Tyler C. Raymond and Kimberly K. Raymond, both at home in Plainville. He was also brother of the late, Christopher J. Raymond.
Relatives and friends gathered for a time of reflection and memory of David. Burial followed in the Wrentham Centre Cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
