Dez had a lifelong passion for music and dance, and maintained hundreds of friendships in her life through that connection. Desiree is survived by her father, James Quesnel and her step-mother, Karen Quesnel; her mother, Deidre Paul and step-mother, Rose Gulino; and her three sisters, Aubrie, Ashley and Brooke. She also leaves many relatives on both coasts, including her niece, Elizabeth; her great-niece Natalee and great-nephew, Damien, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and many, many dear friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Busted Foundation, an organization that provides financial assistance to women battling breast cancer. The Busted Foundation provided a much-needed grant to Desiree last year that helped ease the financial burden of transportation and medications during her many chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
