Westfield – Diane T. Roy, 62, passed away peacefully at home Friday December 13, 2019. She was born January 14, 1957 to Jean (Jack) and Joan Douillard. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1974. She married her loving husband of 35 years Robert Roy on June 30, 1984. She has worked in the electronics industry for 45 years, beginning her career with Digital in 1974, and was most recently employed by L3 Harris in Northampton. In her free time, Diane enjoyed going to the beach with friends and family, and loved to be by the ocean. She enjoyed walks with her husband and beloved dog Rocky, and kayaking with her daughter. Diane was a wonderful person with a beautiful, kind soul. She was the kind of person you could talk to about anything, and was counted on by many as a source of love and support. She will be missed immensely by so many who love her. She is survived by her husband, Robert Roy; her mother-in-law Rose Roy; her brother, Michael Douillard; her brother, Mark Douillard; her son, Eric Roy; and her daughter, Jamie Potvin; and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends and others whose lives Diane has touched are invited to the Firtion Adams Funeral Service located 76 Broad Street Westfield, MA (413-562-6244), on Thursday December 19, 2019 to be received by the family from 4:00 – 7:00 pm immediately followed by a celebration of life ceremony.
