WESTFIELD – Donald A. Morin, 78, of Westfield died Monday, June 10, 2013. He was born in Augusta, Maine on April, 14, 1935 to Arthur and Marjorie (Anderson) Morin.
He worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over thirty-six years. Donald served in the US Navy from 1952-1956 and in The US Coast Guard from 1958-1962 and was a member of American Legion Post 124 in Westfield.
He leaves three daughters, Carol Carlough and her husband Russell, Tracy Heaton Galinat and Kelly Caplick all of Florida. He also leaves four sisters, Shirley Stratton of Corrina , ME, Beverly Anti and her husband Richard of Medina, NY, Janice Hunt of Farmingdale, ME and Constance Lamsey of West Springfield; eleven grandchildren including special grandson, Casey; five great-grandchildren several nieces, nephews and friends. Donald was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Morin and two sisters, Maxine Morin and Charlotte Davidson .
A committal service with military honors will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 in The Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 2:00 p.m. Calling hours are omitted.
