Donald R. DeLance

flagWESTFIELD – Donald R. DeLance, 73, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Noble hospital. He was born in New Britain, CT on November 16, 1941 to the late Carroll and Viola (Bolio) DeLance. He grew up in Westfield attended local schools and was a 1959 graduate of Westfield High School. He served in the United States Marines from 1960-1964 in the First Battalion Platoon #144. He worked for Ayotte and King for over 40 years retiring in 2011. He was a longtime member of the Westfield Sportsman’s Club and was as a range officer. He was a member of Local Carpenters Union 108. Donald enjoyed target shooting and hunting. He was pre-deceased by his wife Nancy L. (Anderson) DeLance on May 13, 2015. He leaves his daughters Wendy DeLance and Audrey DeLance Levere both of Westfield, his grandchildren Kyle and Lexi Levere and his brother Jeffery DeLance all of Westfield. Calling hours for Donald will be held on Wednesday October 21st from 4-7 p.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. The funeral and burial will be private.
