SOUTHWICK – East National Water is continuing to work on the fourth region of town for the water meter project. But, according to Southwick DPW Director Randy Brown, appointment cards were sent out on Monday to residents who would be in the fifth and final region of town.

The fifth region consists of College Hwy and all neighborhoods that are off of College Hwy, as well as Congamond Rd.

While East National Water is working on finishing up the fourth region, they are still taking appointments from residents of any regions in the town that haven’t had their meters changed yet.

“We need to go back to everybody we’ve notified initially and get those full,” said Brown.

Brown says that East National Water has been installing about 16 meters a day, five days a week. But, they have recently offered weekend appointments for Southwick residents. East National Water can be reached at (800)-252-8556.
